VOICE OF DEMOCRACY: VFW DEPARTMENT OF SC WINNERS

Please join me in congratulating Mary Grace Copeland, VFW Post 6561, our State Voice of Democracy winner. Mary is a senior at Lexington High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society and French National Honor Society with a GPA of 4.5. She serves on the student council as Student Body Vice President, is a member of the International Thespian Society, and is a part of the Student Improvement Council. She is also the head news anchor of Lexington High School's broadcasting program and hopes to continue pursuing her passion of broadcast journalism at Clemson University in the fall. In addition, she loves to read and write in her free time - her current goal is to finish writing a novel.
Our 2nd place winner is Hannah Dawson VFW Post 5091, and 3rd place Aspen Hodges VFW Post 10601. I want to thank everyone for participating in the Voice of Democracy program.
